The data was selected from E-PRTR Energy sector (Sector 1) based on attributes of “Main activity: Combustion installations > 50 MW' and 'Thermal power stations and other combustion installations'” The dataset was created to be used in the HELCOM Baltic Sea Impact Index (BSII) for the HELCOM Second Holistic Assessment of the Ecosystem health of the Baltic Sea. The dataset was approved by all HELCOM Contracting Parties in the HOLAS II Human activities data review process during first quarter of 2017.
