This dataset collection contains spatial data layers related to Red Listed species and habitats in the Baltic Sea region. The datasets support regional biodiversity assessments, conservation planning, and environmental reporting by providing information on the distribution, occurrence, status, and ecological characteristics of threatened and declining species and habitats. The collection includes raster and vector datasets compiled from national, regional, and international sources and used within HELCOM assessment processes. These data contribute to ecosystem-based management, biodiversity protection measures, and assessments of the state of the Baltic Sea environment, including the identification and monitoring of species and habitats of conservation concern.
