This data set contains information about stations where HELCOM contracting parties monitor the concentrations of radioactive substance in seawater, sediment, fish, aquatic plants and benthic animals.The Data set was updated in May 2013 after MORS EG 3 2013 meeting according to modifications done in the MORS guidelines as requested by Sweden.

The data set has been compiled based on information in the HELCOM Guidelines for Monitoring of Radioactive Substances for discharges and radioactivity in the marine environment (accessible via: http://www.helcom.fi/Lists/Publications/Guidelines%20for%20Monitoring%20of%20Radioactive%20Substances.pdf).
The data set was updated in October 2011 with 3 Polish fish monitoring stations.
The data set was updated in May 2013 regarding Swedish monitoring stations.
