The points were interpolated to cover the entire Baltic Sea with Spline with barriers interpolation method. Values were log-transformed and normalised (more detailed description below). Grid values were interpolated to 1x1km grid with "spline with barriers" method. A mild generalisation was applied for the layer. All values above 95 percentile and under 5 percentile were grouped together to avoid over-influence of extreme values. Layer was log-transformed and normalised.
